Dayton, OH – Today, the campaign of Sharen Neuhardt, Democratic candidate in the newly formed 10th Congressional District, began airing a new, hard hitting ad against GOP incumbent Mike Turner. The ad features local resident Jimmy Allen and will run on local broadcast stations.

“50,000 jobs have been lost in the Miami Valley since Mike Turner was first elected to Congress ten years ago. Jimmy’s job was one of them. It is time Mike Turner answer for folks like Jimmy,” said Neuhardt.

“Turner has a long history of supporting policies that ship American jobs overseas. As the Mayor of Dayton in the 1990’s, he voted for a proposal that moved some of the city’s services to India. In Congress, he has consistently voted for unfair trade deals that hurt American companies and give an unfair advantage to other countries. He’s even voted for special tax loopholes that actually encourage American companies to move jobs out of the United States,” Neuhardt continued.

“I’m running for Congress because I don’t think that’s right. The Miami Valley deserves a Representative who will stand up for jobs in our community, not ship them off to other countries. In Congress, I’ll fight to close those tax loopholes for outsourcers and for fair trade deals that level the playing field for American businesses. This election is about people like Jimmy all across the Miami Valley and we’re proud to help give him a voice,” Neuhardt concluded.
