I want to thank you for all the support over these past eleven months. The result may not have been what we had hoped for, but I am so proud of the campaign we ran.
When I first started running for Congress, I remember thinking how strange it is that candidates always talk about a campaign as “we.” But over the course of the campaign, I’ve come to realize that this really is a team effort. I am incredibly grateful for our 357 volunteers who contacted more than 100,000 voters, as well as our 1,628 contributors who donated the funds needed to run such a strong campaign. I cannot thank you enough for all this hard work.
I decided to get into this race because I thought the Miami Valley needed a new voice and that our current representative in Congress seemed content to simply manage the decline of our region. With this campaign, we have begun the fight for the Miami Valley and the American Dream. While we may have fallen short, the fight goes on. What we have begun with this campaign will continue.
Thank you all again for everything you have done and will continue to do for the Miami Valley.
All the best,
